Montegra has engaged the legal services of Laff Tucker & Gordon LLP for over 25 years. Matt Gordon’s AV- rated legal practice focuses on commercial real estate lending, land use and zoning issues. He represents real-estate-secured lenders and real estate owners and developers in connection with a wide range of purchase, sale, financing, development and leasing transactions.
A Denver native, Matt has been designated as one of the nation’s Best Lawyers in U.S. News and World Report’s national peer reviewed rankings. He received his law degree from the Boston University School of Law (Juris Doctor, cum laude) in 1983. Matt is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served on the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section Council and chaired its committee on Continuing Legal Education.
Because proper real property valuation is vital to equity-based underwriting, Montegra has engaged the services of Bonnie Roerig, MAI for more than 40 years as our primary appraisal consultant.
Bonnie received her MAI designation in 1981 and was awarded the Appraisal Institute’s new General Review Specialist designation in March of 2014. The Colorado chapter of the Appraisal Institute awarded her the President’s Award (for lifetime achievement) in 2009. Bonnie is a past chair of the Institute’s Appraisal Standards Committee. In addition to her work as a member of the Appraisal Institute’s faculty, she serves as an expert witness in various District and County Courts. Bonnie has been an Appraisal Foundation AQB Certified Instructor of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) since the start of its certification program in 2003.
Montegra has engaged the services of Neil Geitner, P.E. for almost 10 years as our primary environmental consultant. In addition to conducting Phase I and Phase II investigations and property inspections for Montegra, Neil reviews Phase I reports completed by other engineering firms.
Neil is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in water resources, environmental engineering, and hazardous waste management. He also has extensive experience in project management, environmental permitting, and surface-water quality analyses.
Neil holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, and an MBA degree. He is also a registered civil engineer in the state of Colorado.
Montegra has engaged the services of Esther Kettering for the past seven years as our primary real estate consultant. Esther is a leading commercial real estate broker for Cushman & Wakefield. She has facilitated transactions for many large Colorado clients, including GE Capital, Xcel Energy, Colorado School of Mines, Denver Water, and FirstBank of Colorado. NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, nominated Esther as Industrial Broker of the Year in 2009.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Esther worked for Adolph Coors Co. for 20 years, developing and selling over 12,000 acres during her tenure there. She started out her career with Adolph Coors Company as a sales and acquisitions specialist within the corporate real estate division. She left the company in 2000 after serving as the president of Golden Equities, Inc., which is a fully owned, subsidiary partnership of the company.
